Blackjaw supposedly showed up in a Volkswagen engine compartment or the like at the body shop near the lab. She is a skittish cat who eventually showed up to MAG Laboratory because she wants food. Her first nickname was actually "tiny whiney" since she would always whine about food.
Once she was familiar enough with the space, was called "Blackjaw" because her jaw is reminiscent of a cybernetic implant attached to her body like that of a Bond villain. Space members were not inclined to change her name when her sex had become known.
She is known to be one of the best cats to take pictures of because she is always curious about the camera and always looks at the lens.
